Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to Alberta Surface Cleaning (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (https://albertasurfacecleaning.com/) (“Website”) and our service offerings (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Website or requesting Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Website or engage our Services.

2. Services
We provide professional surface cleaning services, including dry-ice blasting, steam/hotsy pressure washing, demolition, disaster and post-construction clean ups, mould and smoke damage removal. You acknowledge that the scope of work will be detailed in a separate quote or service agreement (“Service Agreement”) which will govern the specific engagement.

3. Quotation, Service Agreement & Payment
3.1. All Services are provided following a written quote or proposal issued by us, which when accepted by you becomes a Service Agreement.
3.2. The quote will specify: the work to be done, any preparatory requirements, site access, timing, materials, and payment terms.
3.3. You agree to provide accurate information about the site, condition of surfaces, access, hazards, and any relevant health & safety considerations.
3.4. Payment terms (e.g., deposit, final payment) will be in the Service Agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due as specified in the quote.
3.5. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services if payment is not made as agreed or if site conditions change materially without notice.

4. Site Conditions & Customer Responsibilities
4.1. You must ensure that the work site is ready for the Services (e.g., accessible, electrical/air supply available if needed, surfaces cleared of obstructions).
4.2. You must notify us of any potential hazardous conditions (e.g., asbestos, lead paint, chemical contamination, structural instability) before work begins.
4.3. We shall not be liable for additional costs or delays arising from undisclosed hazards or site complications.
4.4. You must ensure compliance with all applicable laws, permits and building codes. Our Services do not relieve you of your legal responsibilities.

5. Changes, Delays & Cancellation
5.1. Any changes to the scope of Services must be agreed in writing (email is acceptable) and may result in additional charges or timing adjustments.
5.2. We are not responsible for delays caused by your failure to prepare the site, provide access, or third-party interference.
5.3. If you cancel or postpone Services without sufficient notice (as defined in the Service Agreement or quote), you may be subject to cancellation or standby fees.

6. Warranty & Limitations
6.1. We warrant that we will perform the Services with reasonable skill and care consistent with industry standards in Alberta.
6.2. Except as expressly provided in the Service Agreement, all other warranties (express or implied) are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6.3. We are not responsible for latent defects in surfaces, damage from prior workmanship or hidden conditions, or changes in surface appearance due to age, wear or external factors.
6.4. Our liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Services is limited to the amount paid by you for those Services. In no event will we be liable for indirect, special, consequential or punitive damages.
